What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you're signed in.
This policy explains which cookies ZediStats uses, why, and how you can control them. It applies to zedistats.com and every page on it.
How we use cookies
We sort cookies into two categories:
- Essential cookies — always on
- Needed for the site to work: signing in, keeping your account secure, and remembering your cookie choice. Because the site can't function without them, they don't require your consent, and they can't be switched off in our settings.
- Analytics cookies — only with your consent
- Would help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We don't currently set any analytics cookies. If we add them, they will only ever be set after you choose “Accept all” or turn analytics on, and we'll update this page and ask you again.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell information about you.

“<project-ref>” is a fixed identifier for our database project; it's the same for every visitor and doesn't identify you.
Your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept optional cookies. You can choose Essential only — refusing is as easy as accepting, and the site works fully either way. You can change your mind at any time:

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to sign in. Your browser's help pages explain how: Chrome (opens in a new tab), Safari (opens in a new tab), Firefox (opens in a new tab) and Edge (opens in a new tab).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR give you rights over your personal data, including the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Changes to this policy
If we change which cookies we use, we'll update this page and its “last updated” date. If we add a new type of optional cookie, we'll ask for your consent again before setting it.
